The "BLUE MOON" is a exceptional LEGACY 28 Express and was delivered by FREEDOM YACHTS of Middletown, RI for her first  .. and only! .. Owners in the Spring of 2005. Produced from 1999 through 2008, the BLUE MOON was the 98th example built. The LEGACY 28 model was .. and still is .. regarded to be one of the better "Down East Style" yachts that remain to be so popular to the present day.   
Equipped with the Factory-optional YANMAR 315 HP diesel that gives a reliable 22+ knot cruise with good fuel economy and a 28+ knot "top end", a 4 HP bow thruster, a radar arch, a full enclosure canvas, an autopilot, complete ICOM & RAYMARINE communication & navigation electronics to include radar, the BLUE MOON lacks for nothing! Nicely turned-out with her dark Flag Pole Blue gelcoat topsides & varnished teak trim, she's a "looker" for sure. Her design pedigree is via Bill Langan who was the head of the Sparkman & Stephens design group years ago. So, there's no doubt as to where her sea-kindly performance and "good looks" come from!
